An existing stream runs through the site and connects to the lake, making water an integral part of the house. A smaller reservoir collects rainwater, extending the existing water system.

The house follows the natural contours of the site through a light, fragmented structure that minimises its presence within the landscape. Locally sourced stone and wood ground the architecture in its setting, while the built form remains open and visually light. The contours are used to break down the mass, preserving the natural character of the site and maintaining uninterrupted views towards the lake.
