Located in the heart of Bangalore, this 4,000-square-foot residence is a refined expression of spatial transformation and material exploration. The original structure was completely reworked, internal walls were dismantled to open up the layout, allowing for a more seamless flow and improved functionality across the home. A key focus of the design process was the creative use of materials and finishes, like IPS and terrazzo. Multiple custom patterns were developed and tested to complement the broader aesthetic vision and bring a sense of cohesion to the space.

Shades of IPS was also carefully studied through on-site mock-ups, offering real-time insights into color, finish, and how the surfaces responded to natural light. This iterative process helped establish a balanced and contextually rich material palette. Custom-designed furniture was integrated throughout the home, tailored to suit each space with a focus on adaptability and detail. The final result is a warm, contemporary home defined by craftsmanship, clarity, and intent.
