A piece of land nestled within the dense Nigiri forest serves as a site for tea plantation cultivation. Through the removal of water-invasive species, the water table has risen, allowing the land to be reimagined as a privately plotted, luxury gated residential community.

Using a physical model, we developed a preliminary road layout across the steep terrain, along with accessible subdivisions that offer scenic views of the Nilgiris. To ensure that access to the temple located within the plot remains uninterrupted, provisions have been made, alongside the creation of a thoughtfully designed open space around it, intended for public and social gatherings.

In addition to incorporating essential amenities, we have strategically placed them to ensure they function effectively and serve their intended purpose. The outcome of the project includes not only the spatial design but also a set of policies for prospective buyers that support and uphold the overall design vision.
